 If we had to tell you one thing about us... it would be that we're thankful and excited.

 Thankful that God brought us together and so so excited to be finally getting married and most of all elated to share the rest our lives with one another.

Great things really started happening in our lives when our careers brought us together to work at the same hotel back in 2001.  Teri was the then director of catering and I joined the company as a rookie sales manager.  It was from here on that we became great friends, sharing a great group of co-workers and clients made the years fly by and ended up bringing us even closer. 

...and then one day the inevitable happened; we were at a happy hour (as is customary in our line of work after 5pm), and

the conversation went kind of like this:

Jamal: "am I going to have to quit my job to date you?"

Teri: "stupefied deer caught in the headlights look."

 After that awkward moment was out of the way we worked collectively to make things happen for the both of us so that we could enjoy the rest of our lives together.  Teri quit her job and went on to another hotel and is currently at The Whitehall Houston Downtown doing what she loves "catering".  Jamal went on to become the Director of Sales at the Sheraton Suites Houston and is still working there. 

 From here on it was baby steps, we moved in to a home together in Pearland, TX.  Jamal to see if he could bear the long commute to the Houston Galleria area he would have to make and Teri to see if she could stand being around Jamal all the time.

It's now four years later and we have purchased the home we moved into in Pearland; have made great new friends, have family and friends close and far in Houston, Dickinson, College Station, Marble Falls, Austin, Denton, Dallas, Richardson, Sugar Land, Atlanta, Toronto, Philadelphia, Washington and of course Lahore, the list is too long....but you get the idea. 

Together, we bring out each others' best and inspire each other creatively, spiritually, intellectually and emotionally.

We look forward to creating a lifetime of memories together, especially with you, our family and friends that are here on this earth with us and with our grandparents, aunts, uncles, Teri's mom & Jamal's dad who guard and watch over us from heaven every passing second of our lives!

 We are truly blessed!
